didn't like nausicaa as much. its good but i found it a bit dull...well i have seen it a few times before. still good tho. tonight its Porco Rosso the flying pig! good one this. don't know how good the re-dub is. if they taken away the flying music from the begginig....heads will roll!

The bit at the begining, old wise man coming to a village, person spots him (frodo/nausicaa) the road is like built into a hill urm.. same kinda priciple all people greeting him too, old wise man brings news from around the place..

I can see the similarites. Tolkein is a forefather of fantasy stuff, and Hamasaki's stuff is the perfect blend of past present and future, where all worlds collide and everything in each of his films could fit in with all the others.
