Have you seen the weather forecast? It's set to start snowing early tomorrow morning and keep on snowing for a good 24hrs, and stay below freezing all weekend.

We got snow overnight and some of today, it's pretty wet so it hasn't lasted. It's your judgement call, just let us know when you know and I'll post the conditions here in the morning. It'd better be ok 'cos I have a physio appointment in the morning :-(

I have cancelled my physio appointment for this morning and the receptionist at the clinic said even the main A5 is treacherous this morning, they're re-salting but the snow is so wet it's all just dissolving away. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->



For your reference, I finished shovelling the path, came indoors, took off my boots and coat and then went straight upstairs to take this picture, it's already filling in the path I just finished clearing!



It's still snowing quite heavily, Main Road is very slippery and only 1 vehicle out of the 4 I've seen this morning has made it all the way around the bend without going off the road, that was a 4x4. The 3 others all slid off into the lane or the hedge and I've had to go out and help push them back onto the road.



So, we'll miss you, but perhaps we'd better re-schedule...what are you doing for Easter weekend (she says hoping the snow is gone by then!)

I was just looking out of the window thinking that it didn't look too bad here. Although there's still snow falling lightly.



I can't do next weekend I'm afraid, but I'm fairly free after that.

I can't do Easter either because I've got a gaming weekend planned. I'm free the first week of April though?



The snow is pretty thick here now too.

It's stopped snowing here now and seems to have settled down, still a fair bit of snow around though and no telling if it'll start again later.



So it looks like a quiet weekend here at Chez Red, Mrs R is asleep, the cats are all asleep and I've just retired to the office to get some work done. Fortunately I've got plenty to do. I expect there'll be a bit of gaming later on tonight.

Still snowing here. At least all weather New Dog enjoyed it. Because of the wind and wet muddiness of the ground there lots of sheltered bits with no snow behind hedges and trees and with lots of deepish drifts on the other side, so he's been running around playing muddy wet dog/clean icy dog. <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Sounds fun! Our kitties went outside and played around for a bit this morning, but they're very definitely indoor-kitties now. It's snowing again and very windy, we're properly snowed in now <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Quiet, cold weekend. Sausage curry due to a slight meat confusion, but it was tasty enough and very easy. I imagine you were prepared to feed many mouths, so I hope everything keeps OK..?



Are you still snowed under? It's not melted here so the quietest roads are probably still quite snowy. There's about 3" in my back garden. Luckily there is no weather expected for the rest of the week, and just reaching above freezing during the day.

Yeah, I think it's about the same here. Plenty of snow around (although the roads are now clear-ish), melted a little bit today but not much. It's too damn cold for that :-(
