JJW009, you need new seals in the taps about er......?1.00 from my local coopers. turn off the water, remove the tape. then remove the top cap on the tap turner thing. there should be a screw there. undo that an take the top off. the if i rember there is a big bolt (brass, so if you stripp it your screwed) undo that and i think you should be able to take it apreat and change the seals.

now for word assosiation.

Back-problems, (when i took a tap apart i also had to move a machine vice across the room. no my back screwed. told teacher who didn't belive my. so i took the vice, back whent. dropped vice on toe. when home at a 90* angle for the rest of the day)

Back problems... fell off a rope in PE when I was 15 (20 years ago!) and it still hurts... The teacher just shouted at me to get up, I thought I was going to die <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

Interesting comparisson - I stepped on a bit of glass in PE and my foot bleeded on the floor - I nearly got sent off in an ambulence, because they believed what they could see... It was just a little tiny splinter, it only bleeded for about a minute!!

About the taps... they're the kind with ceramic inserts, quarter-turn. Not the washer type. Dunno about the stop-cock... but I really don't trust myself with something that important... I hate to spend money but I really need water!!!

OOOOOwww, that sounds nasty. it sucks to get glass in you foot i've done that too. also had a tree in my leg but i won't go into that now.

ah well i tryed, you prob get charged lods or sumthing. i'd just get some new tape and fit them, but there sound like good taps=exspensive.

also dude, you 35. i though you were younger. and you got a back like mine (screwed) cool. but i bet you didn't have gray hairs at 14 did you. i had and still have. anyway back to the word assosiation.
